Donna Jane (Currant) McDonough was born in Malden, MA, grew up and was educated in Everett, MA. She was a resident of Windham, NH, for the past 15 years. Donna worked in finance for Dynamics Research Corporation in Andover, MA. She had previously held her real estate license, and took classes at Northeastern University. She loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren, and enjoyed traveling with her husband, especially to Europe. Donna was a descendant of Jonathan Fairbanks of Lancaster, England, born before 1660, and Jonas Fairbanks, also born in Lancaster, and who immigrated to Dedham, MA. The Fairbanks house in Dedham is the oldest wooden structure, and the oldest timber frame house, in North America. Donna passed away following a prolonged illness in December 2016. This fund was created by Donna’s husband, Martin, a Wakefield High School graduate, class of 1963, as a long term memorial to Donna.
