Marguerite C. McGrath Fund

This fund was established in March 1998, one year after the death of Marguerite C. McGrath. A life-long resident of Wakefield, Miss McGrath and her five sisters all attended Wakefield schools. Following her graduation from Wakefield High School in 1931, Marguerite attended Old Colony Secretarial School in Boston. She worked for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for forty-two years. Throughout her life, she exhibited a great love of learning. Her fund has a preference for a woman pursuing a career in business administration.
