Shirley A. Ryan Fund

Shirley (Sylvan) Ryan was a graduate of WHS Class of 1947 and graduated from the Fisher Secretarial School of Boston. She was active in the Massachusetts Grand Assembly, Order of the Rainbow for girls. Mrs. Ryan lived in New Hampshire at the time of her death in 1988. She named TSF of Wakefield as beneficiary in her will. Her late husband, Cecil Ryan, who died in 1984, was a student at Wakefield’s St. Joseph School and the Melrose Schools. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He owned and operated New Hampshire Cane and Reed and S & S Antiques.
