William L. Rainville K of C Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Knights of Columbus Wakefield Council held the first annual Billy Rainville Cribbage Tournament in March of 2007 in honor of their departed member and avid cribbage player, Billy Rainville. All proceeds were donated to the scholarship fund. William L. Rainville passed away suddenly at age 70. He lived in Wakefield for 45 years. He left his wife, Patricia, his two children, a son Bob and a daughter Nancyann and four grandchildren. Bill was a longstanding member of the Knight of Columbus, an avid cribbage player who played in multiple tournaments. Bill would have been proud to have a tournament named in his honor, as it was a pastime he so loved.
