Louise Wight Boardman Fund

Mrs. Boardman established this fund in the late spring of 1998. Mrs. Boardman was born in Maine in October of 1898. She was trained as a teacher. When she came to Wakefield after she married, she lived on Pleasant Street, remaining there until she moved to the E. E. Boit Home for Women. She was very active in the First Parish Congregational Church and in Girl Scouting. Mrs. Boardman died in February 2000 at the age of 101.
