Leo F. and Margaret C. Douglass Fund

This fund honors life-long Wakefield residents, Margaret C. Douglass and her husband. Leo F. Douglass was an outstanding athlete in his youth and he devoted much of his life to young athletes. Margaret was a much-loved mathematics teacher, who taught at the Montrose School for 19 years, and later at Wakefield High School. She closely followed her former students’ careers and lives with great interest. This fund has a preference for student/athletes or students pursuing a career in mathematics or in a related field.
