Mr. and Mrs. Raymond S. Dower Fund

This fund honors the memory of a beloved Wakefield teacher and his wife. Mr. Dower headed the Business Department at Wakefield High School for many years. He also taught penmanship in the public school system and also served as a football coach. He was a former member of the Wakefield Board of Selectmen and served for a number of years as the Clerk of that board. This award has a preference for a student studying in the field of business.
