Zachary P. Frank Lacrosse Fund

Zachary “Zach” P. Frank had a lifelong passion for the sport of Lacrosse. As one of the first players of Wakefield’s Youth Lacrosse program, he wore the number 1 and scored the very first goal in the history of the program. Zach went on to excel as both a player and a captain, enjoying much success in both high school and college.

Lacrosse helped prepare Zach for life. He transferred his athletic goal achieving lessons from athletics to other, more important areas of his life. He learned how the importance of the team supersedes the recognition of individual accomplishments—that by working together as a part of a group with a common goal, things can be accomplished that otherwise would be out of the reach of individuals. He learned that any failure is just a temporary setback from which lessons can be learned in order to improve and have a better chance of success the next time. He gained confidence, learned self-discipline and became a successful leader on and off the field. Zach lived life and relished every moment.
