Philip and Bertha Frankel Fund

This fund is a bequest of the late Attorney Moses Frankel, Past President and Charter Member of TSF of Wakefield. This fund was started in 1966 to honor his parents. Philip Frankel, who died in 1940, was a cigar maker who ran his own business in Wakefield. For 25 years he was President of the Jewish Congregation of Lakeside. Bertha Frankel, who died in 1963, lived in Wakefield for 60 years. She was a charter member of Temple Emmanuel and was active in the support of schools and colleges in Israel. This fund has a preference for a student pursuing a law career.
