TSF Anniversary Fund IHO Patricia B. Mooney

On the occasion of TSF of Wakefield’s 25th anniversary in November 1985, the Board of Directors began a tradition of honoring each of its Charter Members annually, starting in 1986 with Ambrose Burton, Charter Member and TSF’s first President in 1960. Additions to the fund balance were added on the occasions of TSF of Wakefield’s 40th anniversary in November 2000 and 50th anniversary in November 2010. In October 2013, the Executive Board voted to rename the fund by adding “in honor of Patricia B. Mooney.” A longtime TSF director, past president and financial secretary, Pat chaired both the 40th and 50th anniversary planning committees. Both successful events were enjoyed by hundreds of guests who included: past and current directors, past and current scholarship recipients, fund sponsors and fund contacts, community leaders, Dollars for Scholars national staff, and a variety of other community supporters.
