Star of Bethlehem Masonic Lodge Fund

This fund was initiated in 1993, the year that the Star of Bethlehem AF & AM Lodge celebrated its 150th anniversary. This lodge was organized on November 8, 1843 in Chelsea, MA. The two founding sponsors were the Right Worshipful Horace G. Barus and the Right Worshipful William Knap. These two gentlemen served as masters of the Lodge for the next seven years. From late 1977 to early 1978, the Lodge physically moved from Chelsea to Wakefield and lodge meetings are held at the Masonic Temple on Salem Street.
