Ralph J. & Shirley M. Eager Fund

The Ralph J. Eager Fund was established upon the death of long time Wakefield resident Ralph J. Eager who had moved to the town in 1949. He was an Army Air Corp veteran of World War II having graduated from Everett High School in 1940. Mr. Eager was a member of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church. He was the husband of Shirley M. (Prower) Eager, father of Ralph T. Eager of Maine, Diana Jones, Sandra Johnson, Karen Silver and Deborah Heimbecker of Wakefield and Linda Doherty of North Andover. Mr. Eager was seventy-six at the time of his death and his family established this fund in his memory.
