Mr. and Mrs. Eliot B. Leonard Fund

Eliot B. Leonard served for 34 years as a Wakefield teacher and principal and this fund was established in his honor in January of 1982. Mr. Leonard served as president of the Wakefield Teachers Association. He was a dedicated member of the Greenwood Union church and was also a talented musician. When his wife Gladys B. Leonard died in June 1993 her name was added to the fund. She was a homemaker and mother who was a member of Melrose Chapter #14 Order of the Star. He is remembered for his dedication to the young people of Wakefield for more than 38 years.
