Marie and Robert Patrick Family Fund

Bob and Marie Patrick raised four children who attended the Wakefield Public Schools between 1968 and 1990. All four – – Catherine, Jeanne, Robert and Matthew – – went on to four-year colleges and careers. Neither Marie nor Bob went to college, but early on recognized the importance of academics, scholarship, athletics, music and community service, to a child’s success in life. Bob died suddenly of a heart attack in 2001, and Marie has remained in Wakefield, devoted to her children, her work life, and her friends. This scholarship fund will ensure that Bob and Marie’s commitment to recognizing excellence in young people will continue.
