Diane Bogan Carlson is a Wakefield native who earned a BA degree with honors from Northeastern University. She was an early recipient of TSF awards and is an honorary TSF director. Mrs. Carlson was a Systems Analyst at Eastman Kodak Company for more than 20 years. She remains grateful to TSF for the scholarships she received while in college. Richard Carlson is a Norwood, MA, native, and received BS and MS degrees in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University, and an MBA from Boston University. Mr. Carlson, an Eagle Scout and U.S. Army veteran, was a volunteer firefighter with the Bushnell’s Basin (NY) Fire Association for more than 30 years, and served as president of the Association. The Carlsons have established a similar fund with the Norwood (MA) Scholarship Foundation. Mr. Carlson died in April 2010.
