Caroline Pinette Memorial Scholarship

This fund was originally established as the “Pinette Family Fund” in an effort to provide Wakefield students with additional resources as they pursue higher education. The Pinette family moved to Wakefield in 1989. Their two daughters, Caroline and Kathleen, attended Wakefield Public Schools and pursued their college degrees in nursing (Caroline) and education (Kathleen) with the help of TSF of Wakefield. The fund was renamed as the “Caroline Pinette Memorial Scholarship” in 2022 in memory of Caroline, who lost her five-year battle with adrenal cancer in May 2021. The preference for use of the fund’s proceeds would be for those students who plan to pursue nursing or education degrees.
