George H. and Dorothy L. Adams Fund

This fund was the bequest from the estate of George H. Adams following his death in May 1997 at the age of 85. George was a Wakefield native who was the General Superintendent of the Department of Public Works in Wakefield. His wife, Dorothy, died in April of 1979. She had been the school nurse in Wakefield for many years. This fund has a preference for an eligible student who is pursuing a nursing education.
