Paul A. and Marjorie F. Saunders Fund

Mr. Saunders was a teacher for over 40 years. He taught in Wakefield for five years and later became a member of the Wakefield School Committee where he served for two three-year terms. When Mrs. Saunders died in 1985, over $1,500 was added to the fund in her memory. She had been a substitute teacher in the Wakefield Public Schools. She was a member of the Kosmos Club and past President of the E.E. Boit Home. In 1984 she was presented an award from the Mass. State Federation of Women’s Clubs for her “reading” of 600 talking books.
