Leonard J. & R. Lorraine Saulnier Fund

Len Saulnier passed away on May 15, 2009 after an illness of some months. He was currently a Friend of TSF but had served on the Board of Directors since 1976. He was nominated to the Scholarship America National Honor Roll in 1990. For many years he was a Member at Large on the Executive Committee, but he will be best remembered for his tireless efforts on the Scholarship Committee. Every year he would match up students with scholarship funds.

Len was a graduate of Boston College High School and Boston College. He served as an Aviation Officer in the US Navy. Prior to retiring he was employed at the Monsanto Chemical Company in Everett. Originally from Everett, Len and his wife Lorraine were residents of Greenwood where they raised their three daughters, Elaine, Marianne and Barbara. He was an avid bowler and he and his wife continued to bowl in Wakefield even after moving to Westford to be closer to family.

Ruth Lorraine Saulnier passed away on May 28, 2018. Born, raised and educated in Malden, Lorraine graduated from Malden Girls Catholic High School. She was a devoted wife and mother. She was a terrific cook and enjoyed hosting holiday events. She also enjoyed sewing, traveling the country by car, and candlepin bowling.
