This fund was established in 1997 following Ms. Lind’s retirement from the Wakefield School Department after 39 years of service. At the time of her retirement she was the head of the Wakefield High School English Department. In addition to her commitment to the youngsters of Wakefield, Ms. Lind was active in the theatre as reflected in her association with Quannapowitt Players in Reading. She also loved to travel. In her retirement, she remained active in theatre groups and was a Scholarship Foundation of Wakefield Director.
