Jamie Faucher Memorial Fund

This fund was established in early 1990 by Jamie’s family and his classmates from WHS Class of 1992. Jamie died in July 1989, in a tragic camping accident, following his first year of high school. He participated in youth hockey and in Pop Warner. His parents described him as a spirited, loving, giving, and trusting 15 year-old who saw only hope and good in others. Through the efforts of friends and classmates, the fund became permanent in time to ensure that an award in Jamie’s memory be made for a graduating classmate. Many donations came to his fund on the 10th anniversary of his death during the summer of 1999.
