This fund honors a beloved former WHS teacher who died suddenly in 1979 of a heart attack at the age of 49. He taught history in the Wakefield schools for 24 years and served as assistant coach in several sports. His thirty-four year old daughter Carol died of cancer in April 1993, and many contributions came into the fund in her memory at that time.
