Wayne and Olga Holland Croce Fund

The Wayne and Olga Holland Croce Fund was established by Wayne to honor his wife’s memory. Olga died on May 14, 1999 at the age of 44 after a 2-year battle with cancer.

A lifelong resident of Wakefield and a 1973 WHS graduate, she and Wayne had been married for 24 years. They were the parents of three daughters; Andrea, Jenna and Rachel.

Shortly after establishing the fund, Wayne died of a heart attack. The family added his name to the fund. Wayne was a 1970 Wakefield High School graduate, master electrician and owner of the Croce Electric Co. of Everett. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and was a member of the Most Blessed Sacrament Church.

The Croce family wished to honor Olga and Wayne by providing a scholarship that will help a Wakefield resident afford the cost of a college education.
