Armando Cresta Scholarship Fund

This fund was established at the time of Mr. Cresta’s death in April 1998. Armando immigrated to Wakefield from Avellino, Italy in 1939. He was a member of the Wakefield High School Class of 1955. Mr. Cresta was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and was known as an avid outdoorsman and gardener. He was also very active in the community, specifically with the Crystal Community Club and the Wakefield Sons of Italy. Mr. Cresta had two children, Heidi and Brian.
