Robert established this fund at the time of his wife’s death in December 1985. Mr. Taylor died in March 1987. Although they had no children, they were always deeply interested in young people and their education. Robert was a decorated WWII veteran serving with the US Marines in the South Pacific. He worked for the postal service until his retirement. Mrs. Taylor was a WHS graduate. Both were active in the First Parish Congregational Church.
