Rawson Auto Body, Inc. Fund

Tom and Beverly Rawson established Rawson Auto Body in 1976. From a one-man shop, he grew the business to five employees, all with ties to Wakefield. When the town acquired the new Engine 1 Fire Truck, Rawson Auto Body did some repair work on the old Engine 1. The Rawsons donated the money they earned on that job back to the town by way of TSF! They did this in memory of three siblings of employees, Thomas Hunt, Beverly Rawson’s brother; Marlyn Doherty, Gregory Mignosa’s sister; and Michael Devlin, Timothy Devlin’s brother. Tom Rawson had long been a supporter of TSF, helping many funds reach permanency. He and Beverly were especially thrilled when their own fund reached permanency in time to award their first scholarship in June 2001.
