This fund was started in memory of the parents of a former WHS school nurse, Mary Lally. Her parents were very much interested in education. One of her sons is a priest and the other was the town accountant for Wakefield. Their second daughter has worked for the town of Wakefield and served as a TSF Director for many years. One of their great-grandchildren has also served as a TSF Student Director.
