Margaret M. and Catherine Collins Fund

Margaret and Catherine Collins were lifelong residents of Wakefield. Both were educated in the Wakefield schools. Margaret graduated from Wakefield High School with the class of 1942 and Catherine was a member of the class of 1939. The sisters were fortunate to be able to continue their education past high school. Catherine graduated from secretarial school and worked as a secretary for a Boston insurance company. Margaret became a dental assistant manager for a local dentist. Margaret passed away on June 25, 2002. Catherine established this fund in her and her sister’s name in hopes that other Wakefield residents would have the same opportunities for education as they did.
