Joseph L. & Virginia M. Zingarelli Fund

This fund was established at the time of Mr. Zingarelli’s sudden death in May 1993 at the age of 68. Retired from the Mass Port Authority, he was a veteran of World War II having served as a sergeant in the Marine Corps. He was a man who knew that family and friends are greater than any worldly treasures. Mrs. Zingarelli died in 2004. She was a lifelong resident of Wakefield having served as Assistant Town Clerk and subsequently elected to Town Clerk serving Wakefield in that role for 14 years. They had been married for 39 years at the time of Mr. Zingarelli’s death.
