Eleanor K. Abbott Fund

This fund was established from the bequest of Miss Abbott following her death in 1989. Miss Abbott was a graduate of Wheaton College and taught for 38 years, 34 of them at Wakefield High School, where she was an English teacher. For many years, she was the sponsor of the senior class play. Miss Abbott retired from teaching in 1964. She was a past President of the Wakefield Woman’s Club, a member of the First Baptist Church, active in the Kosmos Club, and on the Board of Directors at the E.E. Boit Home.
