Dominic Giuffre Fund

Dom Giuffre has been memorialized because of his association with local hockey, an association that began 40 years before his death in November 1988. With the late Charles Kirk, he formed the Wakefield Youth Hockey program, and he served as its director for more than 20 years. His dedication to the youngsters involved in skating is legendary. Mr. Giuffre was a past President of Wakefield Rotary, and was also active in both Little League and Pop Warner programs. An avid golfer, he was a member of Bear Hill Country Club. He was also an army veteran of WWII. This fund has a preference for a student who participated in Wakefield Youth Hockey.
