Clarence J. Peters, Jr. Fund

A Massachusetts native, Mr. Peters came to Wakefield in 1970 after spending a large portion of his life traveling throughout the world getting his education, serving in WWII, teaching at the college level, and working as a financial analyst in the oil and chemical industry. As a retiree, he was an avid bird watcher and in the late 1980s, received a citation from the Wakefield Citizens’ Walking Club. Mr. Peters described himself as intellectually inquisitive and a lover of London, wine, architecture, C-Span, and paintings. He died in 2001.
