Brendan and Mary O’Keefe Family Fund

Brendan T. O’Keefe, the husband of Mary L. (Tecce) O’Keefe, was born in 1919 and died in 1967, at age 48. He was a lifelong resident of Wakefield, attended Wakefield schools, graduating from WHS in 1936. Brendan served in WWII from 1941-1945. Following his army duty, he worked as a federal civil servant at the Boston Navy Yard in Charlestown until his death. Brendan and Mary had five children; Matthew B. (1943), Patrick J. (1946), Brenda M. (1947-1973), Esther M. (1951), and Michelle M. (1957). This fund was established by the four surviving O’Keefe children to memorialize all members of the O’Keefe Family who have followed their father in death.
