Lois Rounds Burnett grew up in Malden where she was active in the First Church Congregational and graduated from Malden High School and the Malden Hospital School of Nursing. After marrying, she moved to Wakefield where she was active in the Greenwood Union Church and caring for her three children. Her fund carries a preference for a nursing student.
