Bob & Sally Burnett Fund

This fund was established at the time of Robert Burnett’s death in April 1998. He had been a resident of Wakefield for 45 years. Robert was a graduate of Northeastern University and worked in the Boston Naval Shipyard as a chemist for 35 years. He was active in the First Parish Congregational Church where he sang in the choir for many years. He was also a member of a Barber Shop singing group. An avid bowler and swimmer, Bob was also active in the community, serving on the Greenwood and WHS PTSAs , and as a member of the Boy Scouts. When Sally died in late 1999, her name was added to the fund. She was a former teacher of 4th, 5th and 6th grades.
