Alfred J. & Geraldine L. Yebba Fund

This fund honors Alfred and Geraldine Yebba, the former owners and operators of Crystal Beauty Salon for over 25 years. Alfred was a former TSF Director and former Wakefield Selectman, and served as Board Chairman . He served as President of the Eastern Middlesex Chamber of Commerce, having received the Chamber’s first Wakefieldian of the Year award. He also served as Chairman of the Wakefield Economic Development Council, Member of the Civic Advisory Board of the New England Memorial Hospital, and was an active member of many other civic boards and service clubs. Mr. Yebba was a real estate investor who developed several properties in Wakefield. At the time of his passing in 2009, he was remembered as a kind, supportive, and supremely patient man who took pride in the success of his family, associates, and of the entire Wakefield community. Geraldine died in 1977. Mrs. Yebba was an active supporter of numerous Miss Wakefield pageants and various other public events which became the centerpiece marketing events of the Wakefield Chamber of Commerce over the span of many years. She is remembered as a warm, hospitable lady, gracious hostess and dedicated wife and loving mother. Their many friends raised the funds for this tribute.
