Roger Williams was the husband and father of the persons honored by the Nathalie L. and Barbara E. Williams Fund. This fund has a preference for a student majoring in engineering or the natural sciences. He was a heating and refrigeration engineer for H.P. Hood & Sons in Charlestown. He was active in the First Baptist Church, the Golden Rule Lodge of Masons and the Royal Arch Chapter of Masons. His five children all graduated from college, each of them receiving scholarships.
