Nathalie L. and Barbara E. Williams Fund

This fund honors a Wakefield mother and daughter who died within a short time of one another. Mrs. Williams had lived in Wakefield for 35 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Kosmos Club. Barbara was a graduate of WHS Class of 1944 and Jackson College Class of 1948. Until failing health forced her retirement, she was chief technician of the Chemical Chemistry Lab at the Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Boston. Their fund has a preference for a student studying medicine or music.
