Mr. White established this fund in memory of his wife following her death in mid-1980. They had been married for 40 years, traveling extensively in Europe, Canada and Mexico. Her interests included sports, music, reading and the theater. Harris White died in February 1995. Tex was a retired electrical engineer. He was a past president of I.E.E.E., an international organization of electrical engineers. He was a captain in the Army Air Corps in Europe during World War II.
