Robert N. von Klock Fund

Robert von Klock was a member of the WHS Class of 1950 where he participated in the orchestra, band, and rifle club and co-chaired his class yearbook. He was described as friendly, diligent and scholastically brilliant. The Class Prophecy named him, “most likely to succeed” with a future in teaching. This certainly came true as he taught in Winchester for many years. A flutist, he later performed with the Reading Symphony Orchestra. His peers also elected him “most ambitious,” “most serious,” most sophisticated,” “most diligent,” and “most courteous.” Howard Snyder and Patrick Skulley of the Wakefield Law Office of Skulley & Snyder, the attorneys and administrators of the Estate of Robert von Klock, presented a substantial bequest to TSF in order to establish the von Klock Fund. His scholarship carries a preference for students studying music.
