Dr. Szydlowski, a local physician for thirty years, also was the school physician, attending particularly to the needs of Wakefield High School football players. He was also the past President of the Wakefield Lions Club, which established this fund in his memory. Dr. Szydlowski’s wife, Annabelle, passed away in December of 2003. The fund has a preference for a student interested in the field of nursing.
