TSF Director and Financial Vice President William Spaulding initiated this fund in memory of his parents. William Sr. was a printer with the old Boston Transcript newspaper. Jennie was born in Newfoundland, Canada and came to the US at age 16. She, like her husband, was active in the church, he as a 50-year Mason and she as a member of the Order of Eastern Star. She died at age 50, when her son Bill was a senior in High School.
