This fund was a bequest by Mr. and Mrs. Perkins who established a trust in 1964. Mr. Perkins died in 1984 and Mrs. Perkins died in 1991. TSF was notified of the bequest following her death. Mr. Perkins was President of The Savings Bank from 1961 until his retirement in 1971. Although not Wakefield natives, the Perkins felt strongly enough about TSF’s goals that they provided generously for the students of Wakefield.
