Mr. Kenney was a former director of the The Scholarship Foundation of Wakefield and was elected an honorary director in 1978. He was a former member of the Wakefield School Committee and the Wakefield Board of Selectmen. A former attendance officer in the Wakefield school system, he had a reputation for kindness and fairness that earned the trust and respect of countless Wakefield families.
