Nicholas R. & Anna M. Bagarella Fund

This fund was established at the time of Nicholas Bagarella’s death in the Spring of 1995. His children had been recipients of TSF of Wakefield scholarships. Mr. Bagarella lived in Wakefield for over 40 years and was a member of St. Joseph’s Parish. Before his retirement he worked at the Charlestown Navy Yard and GE in Lynn. He was also a Pacific Veteran of World War II. The fund was renamed in 2017, following the death of Nicholas’ wife, Anna. Mrs. Bagarella resided in Wakefield for over 60 years where she was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Parish. She was an employee of the American Telephone and Telegraph Company and was active and involved in her community and with her family. Anna enjoyed bingo, swimming at the beach, walking Lake Quannapowitt and going to her kids’ and grandkids’ sporting events, concerts, graduations and other events. She loved hitting the dance floor and talking about the Red Sox. Her favorite gift in life was just having her family together.
