Robert DiLibero Hockey Scholarship Fund

Robert’s friends and former Wakefield High School ice hockey teammates established this fund. Robert was a member of the undefeated and number one ranked 1980 WHS varsity hockey team, considered by many to be one of the best teams ever to compete in the Middlesex League. Robert, a WHS Class of 1981 graduate, also actively participated in varsity baseball. He graduated from Salem State College with a degree in business. He was a very active supporter of the Friends of WHS Hockey. After his death in June 1993, his friends began this fund to insure that he would never be forgotten. The fund has a preference for a WHS graduating senior who participated in varsity ice hockey while in high school.
